Taylor – Kempsville ’12

One of my 2012 seniors is Taylor, from Kempsville. As with many of my seniors, I first photographed Taylor playing sports. The sport of choice is softball. I’ve taken action shots from rec league to travel ball to varsity. After all these years, I’m priviledged to be Taylor’s senior photographer.

For Taylor’s session, we started of at the Botanical Gardens and finished at the beach with a great sunset. We had a fun time during her session. I’ve posted an action shot from the 2011 spring season, as well as some of Taylor’s senior pictures and storyboard.

Taylor – Atlantic Shores

Taylor was my first senior for the class of 2010. Her photo shoot was the first post of this blog. You can find her pictures & previous post here.

I use Animoto for my slideshows. I like Animoto because it’s easy to use and the slideshows are edgy, with music included. Now, you can add video footage to your slideshow. The video gives a behind the scenes look at my senior sessions. The screen size is smaller for blog and facebook pages. Seniors can order a DVD version to watch at home and share with friends. The videos look really impressive on a big screen TV.

Any senior that wants to purchase an Animoto DVD of their photo session or if anyone wants more information on getting an animoto slideshow, just give me a call.

With the school year almost over, this year’s juniors are starting to plan their senior portraits. Taylor, a junior at Atlantic Shores, is my first senior of the 2010 class.  Since she was the first of the ’10 class, we wanted to start of with a bang and shoot at some fun locations. On the advice another photographer (Thanks Andi), we shot some at Nauticus. Before that, we went to the Harbor Park parking lot and shot under the I-264 overpass.  In the end, we took some great shots and had a lot of fun. To all the rising seniors out there, ask Taylor for a rep card. It’ll give you a discount on your session fee when you call to schedule your appointment.
