Here’s how the program works:

Our 2011 senior models get a discounted senior session. During this session I’ll be trying out new ideas and backgrounds as well as creating photos for my advertising and promotional materials for the Class of 2011. You’ll get free promotional materials featuring your images to pass out to your friends, a slideshow of your photos for Facebook, bonuses for referring your friends and the opportunity to earn discounts on your senior photo print order. You’ll also have a chance to win a $50 gift certificate and a Dooney & Bourke handbag. You will be among the very first members of your class to have your senior photos featured on our website and in our Facebook marketing.

Katelyn – Ocean Lakes

We had a blast during our session with Katelyn, our first senior from Ocean Lakes. After talking to Katelyn and her mom for a minutes, we knew we were going to create some great images.

We started off near Harbor Park. After a few shots against the various backgrounds, we brought out a chair to add a little flair to the session. Katelyn was fun to work with and she made our jobs easier by coming up with some ideas for poses on her own.

From there we took a walking tour of Norfolk looking for some backgrounds that would provide a nice contrast with her outfits. We found an alley near TCC that was just perfect. We ended up using three of her outfits in various areas of the alley. We ended the session down the street from Freemason Abbey.

Enjoy the pictures, leave a comment, and be sure to check back later for a video slideshow of Katelyn’s senior session.

I’ve been so busy with my senior sessions that I’ve haven’t been able to keep up with my blog posts. The 2010 senior season is off to a great start. I’ve been shooting almost everyday and I’ve had some really great photo shoots. Now that school is about to start, hopefully I can get caught up on all my posts.

Megan, a cheerleader at Kellam, is one of my senior models. We had a great time during our session and it was fun getting to know her and her mom.

We started off in Norfolk, near Harbor Park. Once the traffic through the downtown tunnel died down, we headed over to Portsmouth. We were able to get some good train shots over there. When we were done, we headed back to Norfolk. We stopped at the Half Moone Cruise Center, before ending the night at the pier at Nauticus.

Take a look at some of the photos from our session and don’t forget to watch the video slideshow at the bottom of the post.
