Get to know our senior models. Today’s featured senior is Christy, a 2013 senior from Atlantic Shores. After a great studio session with Christy and her mom back in April, we knew we were going to have a blast during her senior session. We had such a fun time. Continue Reading →
As we enter our third year of photographing seniors, we’ve been fortunate that work of mouth has helped spread our senior photography outside of Virginia Beach. From Franklin, to the Eastern Shore, to the Maryland border and now to Yorktown, more and more seniors have been using us for their senior pictures. Our most recent senior to make the drive to us is Courtney, from Tabb HS, in Yorktown. Continue Reading →
Get to know my senior models. Today’s senior is Ally . . .
I first had the opportunity to photograph Ally during Hickory’s powder puff game. The game was great and everyone had a fun time. During Ally’s senior session, she was accompanied by her sister (Taylor) and her mom and dad. We had a blast during her session and it continued on into her studio session. The Smiley family was phenomenal and Penny and I were glad to have met them. The music video at the end of the post has more photos & video from Ally’s senior session. Continue Reading →
Alyssa is another one of my seniors from Ocean Lakes.
Our first location was the Botanical Gardens in Norfolk. We met with Alyssa, a friend of hers and Alyssa’s mom. Nature’s diffuser was in full effect as we had quite a few clouds overhead. We had fun as we shot throughout the gardens – that is until it started raining. We were forced to postpone the rest of her senior session.
For Alyssa’s make up session, we met at Seashore State Park (now First Landing). The weather was great and we had a beautiful sunset. This time we were able to finish her session without interruption.
I’ve posted a few of her photos below, along with a music video. Her video has more photos, along with some video footage taken during her photo shoot.
Courtney is another one of my seniors who I first shot playing sports. Courtney is a varsity softball player at Landstown High School.
We started our session at the Botanical Gardens in Norfolk. It was a hot day, but we survived. We had a lot of fun and Courtney was up for trying some different things. Afterwards, we headed to Seashore State Park (First Landing) for some beach shots and hopefully a nice sunset. Because of clouds, we didn’t get a nice sunset, but we had a great time anyway. For one of our shots, Courtney stood on top of a five foot wall, in heels. You could see the wind rocking her back and forth, but she didn’t fall and it was definitely different.
You can see a few of her pictures from our session below. Don’t forget to watch her music video at the bottom of the post.
Kelsey is our second field hockey player from Hickory and she was just as fun to shoot with as our first (Sarah B).
We started our session in Norfolk, at the Botanical Gardens. We had a great time and Kelsey looked great in her formal dress. After manuvering around various wedding photographers at the gardens, we left for the beach. There weren’t any wedding photographers at the beach to manuver around, but there were plenty of fishermen we had to dodge. We had a blast at the beach and Kelsey even got in the water at the end of her session. We had a great sunset and captured some beautiful images.
Take a look at a few of Kelsey’s pictures below and don’t forget to watch her music video at the bottom of the post.
We had a great time during our senior session with Kiana. We had a blast with Kiana and her mom. Kiana is a 2011 senior at Kempsville High School.
We started our session at the Botanical Gardens in Norfolk. We went to the Japanese Gardens, but it was closed for a wedding reception. We finished our session as the sun set at Nauticus and captured some great images.
I’ve posted a few pictures below. Don’t forget to watch the video at the bottom of the post.
