I’ve been taking pictures for quite a while and I enjoy it as much today as the day I started.

I began shooting recreation league team and action photos. From there I started covering varsity sports and the athletes in our area. I currently shoot for gamedaymagazine.com and virginiapreps.com. My photos have also been published in Shorelines, Gameday and Inside Sports magazines. My photo and video work can both be found on MaxPreps.com.

My work with high school seniors began several years ago. This has been an exciting addition to my portfolio. I’m challenged daily as we go on location to to get those beautiful shots that shows how each senior is unique. . . . So much fun.

I shoot with Canon equipment. I use a 5D MKII for my portrait work, the 1D MKIIN for sports and the XH-A1 for video. I love Canon’s L lenses. If you see me at the field with a cannon for a lens, that’s my Canon 400 2.8. The background blur really makes the subjects pop.
